Injection molding

Plastic injection molding

Plastic injection molding is a well-established technology that enables the production of high-quality products with precision and speed. The integration of advanced machinery and optimized processes ensures excellent results while reducing waste and production time.

State-of-the-art machines are equipped with:

  • Computerized control systems to monitor molding parameters in real time and ensure part repeatability.
  • Material recovery systems to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Advanced cooling technologies that improve cycle times and surface quality of molded parts.

The high level of automation allows for reduced setup times and optimized production, even for large-scale manufacturing.

The injection molding cycle: from raw material to finished product

The injection molding process is divided into several stages, all optimized to ensure efficiency and repeatability.

01

Material preparation

Plastic materials, in the form of granules, are dried to remove residual moisture, preventing imperfections in the molded parts.

02

Melting and injection

The plastic material is heated until it reaches a viscous state and then injected at high pressure into a closed mold. This phase is crucial to ensure perfect repeatability of the components.

03

Cooling and solidification

The mold, equipped with cooling channels, allows controlled solidification of the material to prevent deformation and ensure dimensional stability.

04

Part ejection

Once cooled, the component is ejected from the mold using mechanical or pneumatic systems.

05

Finishing and quality control

The parts are finished, if necessary, and subjected to dimensional and structural checks to ensure compliance with the required standards.

This production cycle ensures high efficiency, allowing complex shapes and fine details to be achieved quickly and consistently.

A state-of-the-art machinery fleet for every production need

The use of a diversified machinery fleet is essential to ensure maximum production flexibility and the ability to meet any requirement, from the creation of small components to large-format parts. The production line consists of 12 injection molding presses, each designed for specific applications, with clamping forces ranging from 30 to 540 tons.

This range of equipment makes it possible to process components of widely varying sizes, from lightweight micro parts to complex, large plastic elements such as structural pieces for the electrical or industrial sectors. For example, the smaller presses, with a clamping force of 30 tons, are ideal for producing components weighing up to 50 grams, while the larger presses, reaching 540 tons, can manufacture parts weighing up to 8 kilograms.

Thanks to this advanced technological setup, injection molding goes beyond standard production, offering a competitive advantage by enabling the manufacturing of custom plastic products with advanced features and maximum efficiency.
